Many people hear the phrase "fear God" and assume it means being afraid of Him. But biblical holy fear is something much deeper—it is a profound reverence, awe, honor, and love for God that draws us closer to Him, not farther away.
Drawing from Ecclesiastes 12:13, Pastor teaches that the fear of the Lord is not just an important part of the Christian life—it is the very purpose for which we were created. When our lives are centered on honoring God and obeying His Word, we discover true fulfillment, wisdom, intimacy with God, and lasting purpose.
